Community Cats Global is a 501(c)3 non-profit foster based rescue organization. Our central mission is to reduce euthanasia rates at our local shelters and rescue/rehabilitate cats that have been neglected, abandoned, abused, and/or suffer from debilitating medical conditions. Not only do we strive to rescue as many high-risk felines as possible, but to also educate and encourage local communities to join our rescue efforts.
Established in 2016, we started as a one home foster to a litter of three tiny kittens rescued from freezing conditions. It soon became apparent that there was a concerning lack of resources and knowledge involving cat/kitten welfare, rescue, and adoption. We operate from a firm belief that each cat’s life has value and work relentlessly to give these felines a fighting chance. We have spent each passing day growing, learning, teaching, rescuing, and loving these precious felines.
Community Cats Global has grown from a one-bedroom foster into a network of fosters and volunteers specializing in neonatal kittens, senior cats, special needs cats, hospice cats, and injured cats/kittens in critical condition. All of our rescues are spayed/neutered and fully vetted prior to adopting them to loving homes.
Our medical fund, MediPurr, is dedicated to ensuring all of our rescue cats and kittens receive the medical care they desperately need. Without these resources, these cats/kittens would be euthanized or left to needlessly suffer on the streets. This fund has been made possible by the generous donations of cat lovers around the world. Our fight can only continue by our communities coming together to save one precious life at a time.
